Election 2008

I stayed up until late last night, watching the Election Coverage. I did not feel a bit concerned about whether Obama would lose the race to the White House. I was more anxious to hear his words of the night. He was so humbled. I was taken away by the crowd, and by his remarks on his wife and children. I love how he mentioned to his daughters that they will get their new puppy to take to the White House, because they deserved it.

I have supported Barack Obama since February 2007. In my opinion, there will never be another President like President Obama. I can't predict the future, but I'm most certain that he will keep his word, and then some. He will "CHANGE" the White House, and give us his best work ever.

America chose Barack Obama. I chose Barack Obama.

I am a more content citizen, woman, and mother because of this election. I have been motivated by this movement in the beginning, to bring change to my own home. I feel so motivated and enthusiastic about the future.

As a citizen of the United States of America, I will try best to participate in taking care of our land. I will remember what it is meant to live in the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

As a woman, I will remember how on August 26, 1920, woman's suffrage ended, and were given the RIGHT to vote throughout the Nation. I will be a strong woman.

As a mother, I will be committed to providing my children the best that I can offer them; that is every bit of love, patience, and understanding that I possess as a human. They will know that in America, we are free to expand our knowledge, free to roam the halls of libraries, and museums, and to learn about the History of our predecessors.

Today, my spirit has been renewed.
